Ali Warters [she/her] is an acupuncturist, herbalist, massage therapist and painter from Newport News, VA. She holds a BS in Health Sciences and an MS in Acupuncture with a specialization in Chinese Herbs, both from Lotus Professional College here in va.
With an intuitive eye for the human form, Ali first gravitated toward portraiture and anatomical drawing. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing from the Maryland Institute College of Art and remained in Baltimore painting professional portraits for years after. Her paintings capture and reveal the quiet need for healing in her subjects. Ali's portraiture revealed the quiet need for healing in her subjects, leading her to pursue a hands-on healing approach through massage therapy and Eastern Medicine.
Ali is a compassionate and nurturing person, ever inspired by the human condition. Eastern medicine is a perfect vehicle to express her passion and tenderness for people. Where once she held the paint brush to expose the need for healing, she now bestows her gift manually through bodywork. Ali’s treatments are intuitive and relaxing, but most importantly, effective. She takes time and care to ensure a safe space for all folks and all bodies. Ali is thrilled to debut her acupuncture practice at VitalQi!
